Sculptural Installation
My interest in the different aspects of text messaging as a way of communicating grew during my research, thinking about it as an archive, pulling apart the way we send and receive things, playing with context, repetition and the masking layer that gives the opportunity to say things that are harder to say in a real-life conversation. What do these text-bubbles still mean when stript from a screen, and put in a non-logical context? What do they say about our way of communicating non verbally to and from a device.
