Artistic Practice
Poeka Pipilotti Boland is an interdisciplinary artist and designer based in Utrecht, working across various mediums including installation, sculpture, graphic design, creative direction, and photography. She describes herself as a “maker of sculptural landscapes” and an “admirer of the forbidden land.”

Education
In 2021, she graduated from the Base for Experiment, Art, and Research (BEAR) at ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem.

Artistic Themes
Her work explores the boundaries between fiction and reality, creating sculptural landscapes that exist in a space close to non-existence.
She focuses on the grey areas between comfort and discomfort, spaciousness, and the borders surrounding sculptures.
Through her art, she invites viewers to question their perceptions and find comfort amidst the performative pressures of contemporary society.
